The Story of O'leavoil
O'Leavoil has a rich history spanning 30 years, starting in Mexico City with friends and family gatherings before being known as "La Bia." The founder, Laura Fonseca, began this venture shortly after her son was born. Initially, she sold her products at "La Pulga" (flea market) and was inspired to create something meaningful in the vibrant atmosphere of San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. There, she established stalls in local stores and restaurants to showcase her products with passion and determination.
After relocating to Michoacán, Laura continued her journey at farmers' markets in Morelia and Pátzcuaro. She also created her store, Maszana🍏 (More Healthy), where she produced and sold her products while supporting other vendors from the farmers' market. This establishment provided a fixed location for weekday sales, order pickups, and deliveries.
Emboldened by her success, Laura made the bold decision to move to the United States, rebranding her business as O'Leavoil. Thanks to her dedication and expertise, O'Leavoil has thrived in the U.S. market for the past four years. She continues to share her passion for her international cuisine, bringing a piece of her cultural and gastronomic heritage to consumers nationwide. This heritage reflects her Mexican and Spanish ancestors and the various places she has lived, including Mexico City, Guanajuato, Michoacán, Switzerland, and Italy. Laura’s products feature natural flavors that are made even more special by her handmade processes, using fresh, high-quality ingredients without preservatives, colorings, or artificial flavors.
Additionally, she has explored communities in different areas of the DFW Metroplex, starting with the Spring Fest Market for residents at Viridian in Arlington
